Me and mine {Adelaide Photographer}

Just a bit of a personal post tonight from me, though I would show my two most recent images from my self portrait challenge and just a few recent images that I took over the last few days. Even my cat Jasper, who I’ve had since I was 18 (I’m 30 next month!) has snuck into a couple of shots.

I hope you enjoy them!

Self portrait – Week 7 – Couldn’t resist doing a shot with my gorgeous boys!

Self portrait – Week 8

And just a few other images.

Baylee – 5 days {Adelaide newborn photographer}

Today I had the sweetest little five day old, Baylee. He is the youngest that I have ever had in the studio but he definitely kept me on my toes. With only the shortest sleeping time where I snapped a quick few, he decided to stay awake or fought just on the edge of sleep but honestly he had the most gorgeous eyes so much so that it didn’t matter that we didn’t get a heap of curly sleepy shots, we got some beautiful shots of him awake instead! Isn’t he gorgeous!

Alan and Jess, congratulations on the birth of your little boy, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I will be in touch soon!

Self portrait catch up {Adelaide photographer}

Sorry I’ve been so busy with sessions I haven’t had a chance to update my blof with my self portraits so thought now would be a good time. So here you go:

Week 4

No really story to this one, I thought I would go for a moody shot, it’s great fun now that I have a wireless remote!

Week 5

Ethan was determined to be in this weeks photo and to be honest I love this shot of us togther!

Week 6

Okay this one is probably a little depressing lol as it’s how I’m feeling at the moment and I’m trying to be as honest with these SP as I can.

Sometimes things get the best of me and all I want to do is curl up into a little ball and close my eyes. Sometimes I wish the world would rewind time and I can start things over, sadly this cannot be done and I cannot change how things are.

There is light at the end of the tunnel it’s just a matter of how long it takes to get there…I will get there but at the moment I just wish things had happened a little different.

Lincoln – 11 months {Adelaide baby photographer}

Today was a session the cutest little mite, 11 month old Lincoln. Although also very much on the move and as challenging as this session was Lincoln put on his little charm and played it up for the camera. He also had this funny tongue sticking out thing happening which just had me in giggles.

Anyway Tess I hope you enjoy your sneak peek of your little man and I will be in touch soon with your gallery.

Connor -13 months {Adelaide baby photographer}

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Connor who is 13 months old, with such dark brown eyes and an adorable little grin it was a delight to take his photographs although he was very quick for such a little guy and I’m sure his mum was pretty exhausted having to chase him the entire session! Well it was certainly worth it and we got some beautiful shots of this little chap.

Kahlene, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek of your adorable little guy and I will be in touch with you soon!

Charli – 13 days new {Adelaide newborn photographer}

Today’s second session was with 13 day old Charli. Honestly she was a dream to work with and barely opened an eye during the whole session with her…Oh if only every newborn session I had was as sleepy as this!

Amber, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I will be in touch with you soon!

I love the expression in this one

Emily – 7 weeks {Adelaide baby photographer}

The one thing I love about my job is the photographing of those very first weeks when a baby is born. there is nothing more special them capturing those very first memories of a families love for each other. Today I got to photograph the gorgeous 7 week old Emily! Even though I find this age hard as they are in that between age of not being about to get those curly shots and not able to sit up as yet I was surprised at how strong she was so we got some nice on belly shots instead as well as some candid family images too.

Anyway enough of my rambling and will just introduce you to Miss Emily!

Self portrait challenge {Adelaide Photographer}

As I was saying in a previous post I have decided to do a self portrait challenge where I will take one self portrait photo a week for one whole year.

Usually I don’t like to be in front of the camera but thought maybe this will boost my confidence a bit and challenge myself while also giving the kids something for when they are older.

So here is week one for you!

And of course while I have the chance I will show of my eldest son Tristan. He is almost 6 but geeze he looks older in these shots! He helped make me laugh while doing the self portrait. He can be a real clown sometimes, lol!

He loves my sunnies and just HAD to wear them in a photo!

Christmas Day {Adelaide Photographer}

Well I have to say today was a total success! A joyful day was had starting with hubby getting let out of work early this morning so that he could be home to open the presents with the boys ( we would have waited but it certainly would have been a painful wait until 9am!) Then it was off to my Sister and brother In-laws for a beautiful lunch and what a noisey household it was with five boys in the house, but the noise made for a happy house of jubilant joy! And what wouldn’t be Christmas day without some photos so here is some of my faves from today.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas today with your friends and family!
