Today I met up with Sue from Labs ‘n Life who as per their website:
“At its simplest, Labs ‘n Life gives young people the opportunity to assist in the training of Labrador Retrievers to be of assistance to families of children on the autism spectrum.
Students at Labs ‘n Life learn more than just how to train a dog in the process. Working with dogs increases self esteem and sense of accomplishment; instils a work ethic and sense of responsibility; builds trust and empathy; demonstrates the value of reward and positive reinforcement; teaches anger control; communication skills, and how to meet objectives without the use of force.”
Anyway I had 7 adorable puppies to photograph and they were totally adorable and the most placid of puppies. The session was a breeze apart from a few messes (what else can you expect from puppies though lol) but I truly had a ball with them and just wish I could have snuck one away hehe…although we do have a long term plan of eventually getting ourselves a Labrador in a few years time (has always been a dream of mine) and they are just beautiful dogs!
Anyway without further ado I will introduce you to my new furry friends…oh and sorry for the over load I just couldn’t decide which ones to show!
and just one of gorgeous Lia
