I’m very excited to share that it’s Sweet Chilli Philly Photography’s 2nd birthday of being in business and I couldn’t have done it without my wonderful clients and my Facebook page likers for their awesome support that they have given me over the last 2 years!

To celebrate I’m offering a special for the next 2 days only! Ending on Sunday the 4th at midnight. I will be offering my session fee (normally $100) at half price in combination of a bonus 8×12 as well. You MUST book before by the deadline – you have 3 months to use your session but session fee must be paid a week from booking.

Beach fun {Adelaide family photographer}

Yesterday evening I met up with the most gorgeous family, they were so friendly and so much fun! Of course having two boys of my own I knew exactly what I was in for with Nina and Troy’s two boys Nash and Jonty who were full of boy energy! And with the light the way it was, it was just stunning at the beach and the weather was perfect for some nice casual shots that really captured the boys personalities I thought.

Lucky for me Nina and Troy love black & white images so I got to play with my love of black and white…it really does capture the essence of the person when not distracted by colour.

A beautiful baby bump! {Adelaide pregnancy photography}

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the gorgeous Tara, her beautiful baby bump and her husband Paul! With such stunning golden light and beautiful surrounds there wasn’t anything that could go wrong with this session. They were such a relaxed couple and wonderful to photograph.

Madeline – 9 months {Adelaide baby photographer}

Today I had the pleasure of photographing 9 month old Madeline, although very much on the move and wanting to be held by mum we still managed to capture some beautiful shots of her. I even got some shots with my new petti skirt (that I have brought for sessions) as well as my new antique couch.

Favourite Photo Friday…and a competition!

Yes it’s that time again…it’s Friday! Apart from having my favourite photo of the day for you I also have an awesome competition for you to enter! So you have from now until the 28th of August to email me at ssmoke@adam.com.au with your favourite photo and I also want you to tell me in 25 words or less why it’s your favourite. First prize will receive a complimentary session with me or may choose a package with $100 off! How awesome is that! Second prize will receive a $20 gift voucher from Coles Myer and 10% off my session fees/packages and third prize will receive 10% off my session fees packages!

Entries must reside in Adelaide, South Australia and have only 12 months to use their prizes (Coles Myer voucher may be different). Winners will be notified by email and both photo and entry will be displayed on my blog.

Anyway to finish off here is my favourite for today. One of my most favourite sessions is newborns and as challenging as it is I just love to photograph them, all that newness to the world and that baby smell is just divine!

Yesterday Tristan left to go with his Nanna and Poppa to go caravanning so while he was off having fun one on one time with his grandparents Stephen and I decided to take Ethan for some one on one down at the park this morning. Was a great opportunity for Ethan to try out his new hand made (not by me) bright red hat and scarf. Doesn’t he just look warm and snuggly!

Todays photo was quite a challenge, this session is from back in January and because I had so many favourites from this session I found it really hard to choose just one favourite! Of course this one has been one of my main favourites for a long time. There is just something about a baby bump, carrying that little miracle inside called a human being…

The boys and the Caterpillar {Adelaide Child Photographer}

Yesterday morning when we were outside enjoying the last day outside before the rain was about to come back the boys came across a Caterpillar. The were fasinated by it and spent a good half an hour having turns with the Caterpillar lol It was great just to see their wonderment at such a small creature so of course I couldn’t resit taking photos of such a sweet thing as their wonderment at such a small slice of life.
