Featured in Soap World Magazine {Adelaide family photographer}

I was waiting for the magazine to be in my hands before posting about this on the blog but Soap World Magazine is doing a story on Work at Home Mum’s and their businesses and now that I have a copy in my hot little hands I thought I would give you a sneak peek (This issue will be on sale tomorrow -30th of June).

Even though it’s not a huge feature on me as there are plenty of other different types of businesses that also got in also I thought it was fab to at least made a spot…and check out little Max who was featured in this blog post – Sweet baby- Don’t forget to buy a copy and check out all the fabulous businesses in there – most you can find on Facebook too!

Pretty in pink {Adelaide child photographer}

One thing I love about photographing little girls is the chance to dress them up and make them all girly, having boys of my own I don’t get this chance to do it to my own ( I think they may look a little strange if I dressed them up in a little dresses} but that’s another love of the job is getting that chance with other parents little girls and today’s little star was no exemption!

Chelsea was such a little cutie with the most adorable grin and I just loved all the clothes that Alana brought for the session as well as my own pettiskirt prop…doesn’t she just wear them all so well!

Alana, thanks so much for the pleasure of photographing your gorgeous little girl and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Families are beautiful {Adelaide Family Photographer}

Family

(by Glenda Campbell)

There’s a special kind of closeness
that only families know,
That begins with childhood trust
and deepens as you grow.

There’s a special kind of happiness
in sharing little things,
The laughter, smiles, and quiet talks
that daily living brings.

There’s a special kind of comfort
in knowing your family’s there,
To back you up, to cheer you up
to understand and care.

Of all the treasures life may bring,
your family means the most,
And whether near or far apart,
That love will hold you close.

Girls times three! {Adelaide family photographer}

The one thing I love about repeat clients is how I get to see their children as little itty bitty babies and grown into independent little people that have their own little personalities that shine through…

Yesterday I photographed three gorgeous little girls Shaye (the eldest) Charlotte ( almost three) and little Isla! I first photographed this family when Charlotte was just 6 weeks old so it really was a pleasure to come back again and photograph their newest addition.

Rachelle and Travis I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I will be in touch soon!

Codey – ACOCP session {Adelaide photographer}

Yesterday I had the honor of doing an Australian Community of Child Photographers session with Codey who has Primary Pulmonary Hypertension. Codey did extremely well during the session and he has the most gorgeous smile I’ve seen. He is  a mightily brave little soldier and so is his mum, Kim! I could just see the care and love of this little family as they helped Codey during the session, it’s times like these that you realise how special a loving family is…

Thank you for sharing your family with me Kim and I wish you and your little man all the best, he is truly a little star!

Today I had Ashlee and her mum back for a session and I just can’t believe how much she has grown! Here you can see her newborn session and here for her 4 month session. Ashlee can now sit on her own and is great at rolling to get where she wants to go and from what I hear gets up to plenty of mischief!

Anyway yet again I present you with miss Ashlee!

And here is Ashlee wearing her Cushie Tushie cloth nappy, doesn’t she look adorable in it!

Beach fun {Adelaide family photographer}

Yesterday evening I met up with the most gorgeous family, they were so friendly and so much fun! Of course having two boys of my own I knew exactly what I was in for with Nina and Troy’s two boys Nash and Jonty who were full of boy energy! And with the light the way it was, it was just stunning at the beach and the weather was perfect for some nice casual shots that really captured the boys personalities I thought.

Lucky for me Nina and Troy love black & white images so I got to play with my love of black and white…it really does capture the essence of the person when not distracted by colour.

Nina and Troy, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I will be in touch soon!

and just a hint of colour…
