The other day I photographed the most adorable baby girl Emma, she had the most beautiful eyes and gave me such a serious face although we did get some smiles in the end.

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Amber, Daniel and their new baby girl Annabelle. You could just see how in love they were with their new addition to the family, they were such a gorgeous family to photograph. This is what I love about my job is capturing these very first moments of life…

Today I had the sweetest little five day old, Baylee. He is the youngest that I have ever had in the studio but he definitely kept me on my toes. With only the shortest sleeping time where I snapped a quick few, he decided to stay awake or fought just on the edge of sleep but honestly he had the most gorgeous eyes so much so that it didn’t matter that we didn’t get a heap of curly sleepy shots, we got some beautiful shots of him awake instead! Isn’t he gorgeous!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph the most gorgeous couple M & J. It was a beautiful touching ceremony with the beach only just metres away which is perfect from a photographers opinion. Although it started out quite windy it did manage to calm down and we got that beautiful sunset come through, it was just stunning! You could just see their love shining through for each other which makes a wedding so heartwarming…

Today was a session the cutest little mite, 11 month old Lincoln. Although also very much on the move and as challenging as this session was Lincoln put on his little charm and played it up for the camera. He also had this funny tongue sticking out thing happening which just had me in giggles.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Connor who is 13 months old, with such dark brown eyes and an adorable little grin it was a delight to take his photographs although he was very quick for such a little guy and I’m sure his mum was pretty exhausted having to chase him the entire session! Well it was certainly worth it and we got some beautiful shots of this little chap.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing 9 month old Madeline, although very much on the move and wanting to be held by mum we still managed to capture some beautiful shots of her. I even got some shots with my new petti skirt (that I have brought for sessions) as well as my new antique couch.

I was going to do a glamorous photo on the beach yesterday but with the heatwave that we have at the moment it seems like that was everyone’s idea (to head to the beach) so it was quite packed!

So I decided to photograph something that I love to do (apart from photography) and even though I don’t get much time …for it any more I do love to read a good book.

Nope it’s not sparkly Edward although I do love the Twilight series but I do love fantasy books too (actually they are my favourite genre.)

This book is only new just brought it the other day actually and it’s called Prophecy’s Run by Sam Bowring. I find it to be quite good so far and would highly recommend it to those that love to read fantasy books.

I just wanted to do a big shout out to all my clients and blog readers and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and to have a save one! You have all made this a fabulous year for me and all your constant support has been outstanding. May you have a wonderful time with your family and may all your dreams come true.

Sweet Chilli Philly Photography | Promote your Page too

I now have a new welcome page and I thought it looks pretty good for a DIY job if I do so myself. Also be sure to check out the new photo album there labeled “The Studio” as I have some exciting news! I will be opening a new studio at my home but it will be my own little space (well it’s actually almost as big as the house)

It will be a slow process due to our veranda needing to be done first but “hope” to have it done by mid next year.

If you have any advice or suggestions of what you would like to see in the way of samples or other items of interest please feel free to jot your ideas down on the fanpage. I’m always open to new ideas!

There of course will be a sitting area, a play area for siblings (children waiting for their turn) and also a change area for parents and babies as well as a microwave area for those that are in need of bottle /food warming facilities.
