Heartfelt – Melbourne June 1-14 2010

The Australian Community of Child Photographers ACOCP Announces the 2010 Heartfelt Exhibition – Melbourne June 1-14 2010.

Please support this wonderful cause by sharing this image and spreading the word.

Unfortunately due to family circumstances I can’t make it this year although I went to the opening in Sydney last year but I hope there are those that are able to go, honestly it’s such a worthwhile cause to be able to offer these families a gift during such a difficult time.

Beach babe {Adelaide baby photographer}

Yesterday evening I got to photograph the gorgeous little Blake and his mum Marije. It was his first time in the sand so I think he was more interested in the new textures he was feeling between his toes but in between the unsureness we got a few smiles too!

Thanks so much Marije for letting me photograph your little man and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek, I’ll be in touch soon with the rest of your gallery.

A trip to the Adelaide Zoo! {Adelaide Photographer)

Thanks to Disability SA we received some free tickets to go to the Adelaide Zoo and also to see the Panda’s and we decided to use it as a bit of a gift to Ethan for his birthday. The boys had loads of fun seeing all the different animals and I think that Ethan was that bit older now that he understood a bit more about the animals and took it in a bit more rather than last time where he fell asleep through most of it! So here is a few photos from oour day…and couldn’t forget the Panda’s either, they are so cute!

Sorry about the overload of photos but I do love photographing all the different animals!

Stopping for lunch, Ethan loved his sausage and onion!

And of course the famous Panda’s Wang Wang and Funi!

Sorry you’ll have to excuse the reflection on the glass of this one

And just one of the boys with the statue of Panda’s although Ethan kept hiding behind one of the ears, lol!

Cooper – an ACOCP session {Adelaide Photographer}

For those that don’t know the Australian Community of Child Photographers  has recently been formed and I am very happy to volunteer my time and energy to this valuable cause.

The ACOCP is a volunteer organisation of child photographers from all over Australia who have come together to form an organisation dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families that have experienced stillbirths, premature and ill infants and children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units of their local hospitals, as well as children with serious and terminal illnesses.

In difficult times parents do not always consider the importance of documenting their little moments and closeness of family until those moments have passed. The ACOCP is dedicated to providing this gift to your families in a caring, compassionate and heartfelt manner.

For more information please visit: http://www.acocp.org.au/

Today’s session was with dear little Cooper who is about to make a big trip to Melbourne to have heart surgery. He has such spirit and a gorgeou grin and just look at those big blue eyes of his!

Bronny and Stephen I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I wish Cooper all the best for his operation!

My big 3 year old! {Adelaide Photographer}

It’s hard to imagine that just three years ago that I had only just given birth to my now 3 year old Ethan! In three years he has grown from just a tiny newborn in very busy on the go 3 year old!

I thought I would share some photos of him when he was little (and before I really knew about photography lol) and then some of him from today with some more of him with his new trainset, he has quite a collection to play with now!

This was taken while still in hospital, isn’t he tiny and check out all that hair!

Tristan and Ethan adore each other although they do have their moments sometimes!

And just some of  master Ethan from this morning

Me and mine {Adelaide Photographer}

Just a bit of a personal post tonight from me, though I would show my two most recent images from my self portrait challenge and just a few recent images that I took over the last few days. Even my cat Jasper, who I’ve had since I was 18 (I’m 30 next month!) has snuck into a couple of shots.

I hope you enjoy them!

Self portrait – Week 7 – Couldn’t resist doing a shot with my gorgeous boys!

Babies, newborns and families wanted for sessions { Adelaide Photographer}

As you may have noticed some big changes are happening with Sweet Chilli Philly Photography, to help with my rebranding I am looking to put some new fresh images on my website/blog to help with the change over.

Currently I am in need of:

Family with school aged children: I am looking for a family with school aged children to do a family session at Largs Bay beach/ Adelaide Botanic Gardens for a late afternoon/sunset session

Family of three needed: Due to a cancellation I am in need of a family of three (with a baby of about 5/6 months old) to do some family portraits. This is not for those that have already won a prize or had a recent session with me.

Newborns needed: I am in need of newborns aged between 7 -10 days old. I am looking for mums and dad’s that are happy to pose for some skin on skin contact with bub and it would be even better if Dad has some tattoos (on the arms), I will also be needed some images of baby on their own also.

For these sessions a model release will need to be signed on the day. In return you will receive a complimentary session along with an 8×12 print with the opportunity to purchase more. If you would like to upgrade to a package then $100 will be taken of the price.

If you are interested in either of these please email me at ssmoke@adam.com.au and I will contact you as soon as possible.

Thanks so much!

Philly
