Well I have to say today was a total success! A joyful day was had starting with hubby getting let out of work early this morning so that he could be home to open the presents with the boys ( we would have waited but it certainly would have been a painful wait until 9am!) Then it was off to my Sister and brother In-laws for a beautiful lunch and what a noisey household it was with five boys in the house, but the noise made for a happy house of jubilant joy! And what wouldn’t be Christmas day without some photos so here is some of my faves from today.

I now have a new welcome page and I thought it looks pretty good for a DIY job if I do so myself. Also be sure to check out the new photo album there labeled “The Studio” as I have some exciting news! I will be opening a new studio at my home but it will be my own little space (well it’s actually almost as big as the house)

It will be a slow process due to our veranda needing to be done first but “hope” to have it done by mid next year.

If you have any advice or suggestions of what you would like to see in the way of samples or other items of interest please feel free to jot your ideas down on the fanpage. I’m always open to new ideas!

There of course will be a sitting area, a play area for siblings (children waiting for their turn) and also a change area for parents and babies as well as a microwave area for those that are in need of bottle /food warming facilities.

Okay so my photo a day challenge didn’t quite work due to having a virus on the computer for the last week or so! Very frustrating and working almost 24×7 to get things up and working again. So I think the challenge will have to be put aside for now.

Regardless I caught this cute shot of Ethan yesterday with his toy saxophone and couldn’t resist his adorable proud grin as he looked up at me.

Yesterday I got to photograph the most adorable Luka! With the most gorgeous head of hair and a love of staying awake! I think we got about 2 minutes max sleep from him in the entire 3 hours for the session but even though most of the shots were of him awake we still got some beautiful images.

Anyway here is a few shots from the session and I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

I have so many favourite photos from all my clients sessions that it was really hard to choose but a few! I decided that I would go through all my sessions and choose only 25 favourites otherwise I’m sure we would be here forever. Of course I can’t go pass alot of my newborn sessions that I did and as much as I love all the sesssions I do just seeing that new little human being does it for me everytime!

Also here is a few other photos from today that I couldn’t resist sharing of my two gorgeous boys. They can be ratbags at times and very trying and other times can be so sweet and sharing.

For the last two years I have taken part in a challenge where we take a photo a day for the whole of January. This year I have decided to start a little earlier and thought today (being Tristan’s last day of school for the year) would be the perfect day to start.

Day one – 11th December 2009

Tristan’s last day at school for 2009 with his class teacher Ms Higgins (who he will have again next year as he will be repeating reception.) Lovely teacher she is and I’m glad that Tristan will get to have another year with her.
