Adelaide Photographer – Sweet Chilli Philly Photography

Today I did a session of an 8 month old gorgeous girl, Miss B and her beautiful family. I know Miss B’s mum, Stacey from my mother’s group which we meet up weekly with our kids so that they can play together and we can have a bit of a chinwag. Today was also the first time I was able to test out my new rocking chair that has now been painted white, doesn’t it look great!

Check out Miss B’s adorable grin and although she was a fair bit tired I think we got plenty of great shots.

On the weekend I had the honour of attending a workshop put on by the very talented Dale Taylor. It was fabulous! I learnt so many things and I’m still trying to process some of the information, lol! Thanks so much for taking the time to travel to Adelaide Dale and for teaching us so many things! Also a big thank you to Natalie and her gorgeous family for letting us photograph them. Anyway here is some shots from one of the photography shoots we did.

This swing one I think could have been better if those poles hadn’t been in the way but I still like this one.

Today I got to photograph the most adorable 11 day old baby boy Archer. He is the most placid of babies and even though he only slept for about five minutes (lol!) he didn’t murmer or cry once. Just check out his gorgeous full head of hair…he was such a sweetie!

Today the boys were having some fun after Tristan had finished school and thought I would take a quick few snaps. I do love this first one of  Tristan as lately Tristan gives me a fake smile or a funny look but this one was all natural…probably helps that I was tickling his belly, lol!

So I got my new red backdrop a few days ago and thought today would try it out before using it on client Christmas sessions…

I am now offering studio sessions that are Christmas themed…think a nice deep red backdrop…wooden floorboards and candy canes and Santa hats…don’t let your imagination stop there. These sessions are classed as mini sessions of maximum 45 minutes long.  As these sort of sessions are more suited to individual portrait set ups / toddlers and/or siblings.

If you are after a more family session I suggest one of my other packages otherwise this is a great way to get shots for your Christmas cards!

Today I got to photograph the most adorable baby, her smiles just made your heart glow! I also photographed Ashlee when she was only ten days old…You can find the images from that session here: A 10 day old princess. From sleeping and feeding constantly to being more alert, interacting and giving lots of smiles it’s so unbelieveable how much a baby can change in just four months. Anyway here is the very gorgeous and cute miss Ashlee…

Today I had the special pleasure to photograph an extended family of 14! I had thought this family session would be challenging with 7 adults and 7 kids but amazingly it went very smoothly. We met a at a beautiful location in Gawler and even though the name “Dead Man’s Pass” didn’t give you a great picture in mind, it really is a beautiful place with lots of different areas to photograph.

Thanks for today’s session Nicole and family! I had a blast! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek…it was so hard to choose just a few but here is some of my favourites.

Here is this weeks favourite photo, I love the smile on his face (such a cheeky grin) and the vibrancy of the colours. This was taken at Beaumont House which I find fabulous for family photography sessions! So if you are ever after a location for a session this is a great place to start! Of course permission will be needed before proceeding as alot of weddings get done here also and I’m sure we wouldn’t like to gate crash!
